Sending Pipeline is HighView Church's intentional pastoral ministry development track designed to equip and train pastors and future church leaders for the purpose of mission and church planting.
The innovative design of the Send Pipeline represents a dynamic partnership between HighView Church, North American Mission Board, and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
4 COMPONENTS OF SEND PIPELINE
Content, Coaching, Contextualized Ministry Experience, and Community
The SEND Pipeline uses 3 venues for educational content:
Theological Education: Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
All SEND Pipeline members will have the option of taking full accredited undergrad or masters level classes on campus at HighView Church.
Ministry Training and Assessment: North American Mission Board
Every SEND Pipeline member will be assessed by NAMB and enrolled in their ministry training online curriculim.
Leadership Training: HighView Leadership
All SEND Pipeline members will be a part of HighView's leadership development pipeline and take part in competency based leadership training workshops.
Coaching is a vital part of an individuals development. All SEND Pipeline members will receive hands on coaching from HighView Senior Leaders as they progress through the program.
CONTEXTUALIZED MINISTRY EXPERIENCE
SEND Pipineline members will be placed into various ministry roles that provide contextualized experience in that given area of ministry. Assignments will given by Elder Council of HighView Church and will be based on NAMB assessment results, local church standing, giftedness, current areas of ministry need within HighView and current level of spiritual maturity.
Ministry assignments will also be progressive in nature.
1. Lead 2 People through Knowing Jesus Curriculum
2. Lead Discipleship Cohort (4-6 people)
3. Lead Gospel Community Group (10-15 people)
